Super Tuscan 之父 , Giacomo Tachis

Giacomo Tachis 

被喻為「意大利紅酒背後的男人」又或者是「Super Tuscans 之父」, 低調的傳奇釀酒師 Goacomo Tachis .因他而生的Super Tuscan 包括 Tignanello , Sassicaia, Solaia and, Terre Brune of Santadi ,  Litra of Abbazia Santa Anastasia 等等 , 一連串價值連城的名單就知道  Goacomo Tachis 身價與地位.

生於1933年 , Poirino小鎮 , Goacomo Tachis 少年時代著迷於微生物學 , 在全意大利最好的釀酒學院(School of Alba) 修讀釀酒學的同時 , 微生物是Goacomo Tachis全力研究的學科 , 他對terrior的熱衷就讓他在讀書時代已經跟波爾多大學扯上關係 , 進行各種不同的異地合作.

1960s年代是 Goacomo Tachis 的人生轉捩點 , 1961年受聘於Niccolo Antinori ( Piero Antinori 的父親) , 在Antinori 酒莊工作 , 因跟波爾多大學有良好的關係下 , 在1967年認識到 Émile Peynaud 教授更雙雙成為 Antinori酒莊的顧問 , 把波爾多的技術風格帶到意大利去 . 1968年Niccolo Antinori指派 Goacomo Tachis 到 Tenuta San Guido(Sassicaia) 幫忙 , 重點處理1968年最後步驟混合調配 . Tenuta San Guido莊主Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta對過往十多年份的品質一直感到失望 , 因此無法推出巿面 , 當
品嚐過1968年的成品後 , Sassicaia 就誕生了 !

而在1965年 , Piero Antinori 正式加入Antinori 酒莊 , Goacomo Tachis 一直協助 Piero Antinori 在 Tignanello Estate 研究波爾多風格的釀造方向 , 在完成Sassicaia後回到Antinori , 1970年 Tignanello 酒款成立 , 1971年首次釀造 , 1975年推出巿場 , 其後的就是 Solaia . 由此可見 , Goacomo Tachis 跟 Piero Antinori 一路以來都是合作無間 , 在「Super Tuscans」的帝國之路 , 就更加是「第一人」.


Goacomo Tachis 強調 「 The vine alone, in all the vegetable kingdom, makes us understand what the true
flavor of the soil is」 , 意思就是說「葡萄(藤)在蔬果的王國中 , 能夠讓我們嚐得到泥土的味道」.
1995年Goacomo Tachis正式退休 , 2011年他獲得Decanter 雜誌的年度風雲人物 .
